Network Operations Section
Such are the functions of the Network Operation Section:
- Administration and management of networking infrastructure

Procure new hardware for Electronic Government on behalf of member organisations

Expand the Electronic Government Network (EGN)

Ensure network stability and security
Undertake EGN configuration

Ensure the delivery of the full range of network-based services for the EGN
Build and maintain central server rooms for the consolidation of Government servers

Administration and management of all Government server infrastructure
Define minimal/desirable hardware standards for Government

Undertake the role of project manager for outsourced Government hardware and networking projects
